st xta coilovers issue
« on: January 06, 2017, 10:58:25 am »
Bought st xta coilovers for my gti the other week. Wondering if anybody else has these and if the tab on the back doesn't sit down into the knuckle?
Or have I been sent the wrong ones, said on the box for my chassis etc.

Cheers help appreciated!

Seems to be holding it ok but just seems very odd!

Sitting down as low as it can go in the knuckle.

Iirc there's a flat spot on the bottom of the knuckle so the shock will only go down so far until it hits the flat part and won't go no more so guessing you should be fine like this

That's what i was thinking, its all torqued down and hasn't moved so far. Just looks really strange for something made for the car!
