Hi guys
I've had the Kenwood DNX521DAB in my Mk5 GTI for the past few years along with the windscreen mounted DAB aerial on the top left of the windscreen. It has worked pretty well but recently the reception has become very choppy. The connection quality keeps dropping down.
For some reason I think it seems to have started since my battery died and I replaced it a few weeks ago (not sure how this can cause any issue with DAB reception).
I am now thinking of changing the roof mounted aerial for a DAB one and hope that fixes the issues.
Any ideas on what could be causing the reception issues?
What options do I have for a roof mounted DAB aerial?
Any good guides for fitting it?
