Morning all,

Just about to take delivery of a 07 GTi in black. I've always lusted after the Mk5 GTi so this has been a long time coming!

Looking forward to it but hope the garage I'm buying it off sort out the issues properly.

I've already got some things I'd like to buy/sell so when I've got 25 posts I'll get in the classifieds  :wink:

So I've now got the car, love it!

The garage fitted a new cambelt and waterpump (hadn't been done up until 73k miles - strange?) and also addressed the ESP light on the dashboard.

My only slight issue at the moment is the ride. It's got 18 inch monza alloys and to me they, or the tyres, seem noisy, especially when slowing down. Or could it be something else? Hmm...
