Whooshing sound after fitting a new rev G diverter valve
« on: May 28, 2017, 12:40:14 pm »
Hi all I've replaced my DV as I thought the old one was a rev D, after removing it transpired to be the G version.
I replaced it anyway as I had already bought a new G version; however I am now getting the whooshing sound under acceleration.

Is this normal or is something not quite right?

Did you make sure you did everything up tight? And it was all flush?

There's a little notch/pin thing on the DV so it'll only sit flush one way, maybes you haven't aligned the pin with the slot in the housing? Not sure if it wasn't lined up if the other bolt holes would line up but just a idea
