golf gti cut out and wont start

Hi guys i'm new to the mk5 gti scene. yesterday the car cut out and wouldn't start. Its like the engine is been starved of fuel maybe fuel pump etc. scanner brought up code 09529 and 12556 any ideas ? when i turn the key it fires up splutters and dies back out .......thanks guys

Welcome, and sorry for the bad start with the mk5, a quick look on google shows

When you open the drivers door do u heard the fuel pump prime ?
Have a check of relays (there are seated and snug) and fuses, including the ones under the bonnet next to the battery.

I take it this scan was a generic scan tool ?

There is no replacement for displacement....
But a turbo does help....

Hi did you ever resolve this issue? currently have the same problem, my car starts and drives fine but eventually hesitates cuts out and then wont start again. both times when i go to the car the next morning it starts without an issue but eventually the same problem happens again
