Hi guys I have a BWA 2007 GTi & I've been told there is 2 different types dual mass flywheel for manual transmission Golf mk5 GTi. Can anyone clarify this & know the part numbers if possible?
Cheers.

Two different brands perhaps, but not types. Sachs or LUK.
Apparently the S3 manual DMF is different to GTI in some way but I can't find any info on what exactly.

That's exactly what I thought there was just different brands Luk & Sach.
The S3 flywheel being different is interesting if that's true. Thanks for the info

I have the S3 flywheel in my manual as it's what AKS Tuning supply with the Helix clutch kit. Can't feel any difference tbh!

Yep same fitment, but maybe stronger springs inside the S3 part, not sure.
