OE / non OE, good sources for GTi parts ?
« on: July 30, 2019, 01:51:51 pm »
Hi Guys
Just joined the forum :-)
Have owned both Mk5 & Mk6 GTis for a decade or so as our daily drivers - still like them after all these years.

Over time, both have needed extra work beyond normal servicing, which is understandable as they age, but I'm based in the UAE, so heat kills cars fast! Normally I just get parts from my local VW dealer, but as I need more items & I'm currently in the UK, I was going to get them here.

Some items I'd want VW OE (i.e. MK 6 intake manifold & injector seals), others I'm OK with a good quality non VW OE (i.e. MK 5 engine & gearbox mounts).

Would be grateful for a trusted source(s) to buy them from.
Cheers Sean
