Audi 8P A3 steering wheel to 08 Eos

The Eos is DSG mfsw without paddles. I can get the 08 Audi wheel+airbag for $50. Based on the similarities between mk5 (eos) and 8p a3, would i be able to get paddle function and/or buttons to work?
