Xenon or Ballast at fault? Help!

I have 57 plate GTI and upgraded to Xenons... I now notice that if i go over a pothole or intermittently when driving my left light flashes off and then on again after a few seconds...

would this be a ballast problem or ignitor? does anyone have the part numbers also?
