Uprated HPFP

08, manual, GTi, All standard, no maps

Been doing some reading on error code below. Seems the sensor in the HPFP maybe kaput. I don't believe they sell the top sensor separately from the pump so either a 2nd one from ebay is an option however it got me thinking like the Diverter Valve, is there an uprated version of this which I can fit which will avoid issues in the future?

Nope

Am I right in that I have to buy the full HPFP and not just the sensor? Call to VW it is, not sure I feel comfortable using a used pump from a breakers.

Yep, the thrust sensor is not available separately, so you have to buy a whole pump.
