Thanks for the comments. I wasnt too sure on the black with black. Until i put them on the car and it just looks mean

I was up your way earlier today steve. Did you have a nice gentle drive

They are running R888's at the moment.

Potentially a couple more go faster bits being looked into in the near future too. Damn this modifying business!!!

Looks awesome mate

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Like it a lot mate,Nice and different (though the wife hates any colour other than red for the GTI stripe, so mine won't be changing)
Could top that off nicely by doing the brakes, but be careful not to make it look too much like a Peugeot as used to see a few of those with that shade of green on the body kits/Decals.

Hi Theo, looking good mate, how are you finding the 888's. I have just put some on a set of Neuspeed RSe07 wheels for the track but haven't had a chance to give them a go yet.

Are you planning any track days ?

Neil

Hi Neil,

Am back running PS3's at the moment. For the time i did have the 888's on I found them fantastic. They inspired even more confidence in the handling of the car, it just seemed to hold and stick through the corners. I am planning a few track days this year as well as a ring trip. We will have to meet up at a track day sometime, I would love a spin in the eddy still.

I have to get the dreaded 4yr service, cambelt, water pump and DSG pocket emptier out of the way first tho.

Just a small update from today...

New RNS510C LED fitted. Thanks to Nick from R32OC for sorting me out with the unit and fitting/coding it all for me. Really impressed. Great bit of kit. Now need to get the MDI sorted.
