no mention of what boost the map was requesting then?? "very aggressive spark settings" tho.

i'm also with the view that should the N75 fail it can only run WG Actuator pressure...and hence won't do any damage. I mean N75 can easily fail on a standard road car. Are they saying that one small item failing can cause the car to run max boost of the turbo with no ECU control?

that'ss complete BS i think. There's the MAP sensor for starters..and the ECU still has the DV to use to relieve boost pressure should it exceed the requested level.  and hence the ECU will always have control unless there is a catastrophic failure of multiple control components in one go.

It's the easy way out. The map is never at fault is it (like on testing accidentally whacking boost upto 2+ bar or something)

but who knows.
