retrofit headlamp washers
« on: July 11, 2011, 06:51:45 pm »
Hey

I am trying to fit headlight washers to a mk5 GT golf.  All has gone well but i cant find the part number of the caps that fit over the lifting cylinders.  ETKA is not too helpful.  it lists lifting cylinder for GT's specifically but the caps to fit on the top are numerous.  So far i have ordered two sets,

1 Turned out to be for a golf with the longer wrap around bumper inserts
2 R32 set, which look perfect but dont fit the hole in the bumper

anyone had this battle before, or can lend me a VIN no to find the part no's on a car factory fitted?

cheers

Is a registration plate number any good for you?
