Cars feels like its gone off the boil
« on: November 20, 2011, 06:50:42 pm »
I dont know wether its me or the car but it just doesnt seem as fast as it used too, just seems a bit sluggish
Ive also noticed the mpg has gone down while driving around town. I used to get 32-34mpg  locally but not it seems to be 26-28 mpg.

Its recently had a coill pack recall done and im running a K&N panel filter

So any ideas would be welcome

When I get this feeling I have the o rings on the boost hoses checked.  when theyve perished over time and then I get them replaced (happened a couple of times now) the car has a new lease of life

Seeing you have a 55 car, I would check to see if your dv is torn.
Without traction power is nothing!
