I was looking at purchasing some Uniroyal rainsport II's, anyone used these and rate them?

Great in the wet / standing water, but the sidewall is too soft and precision suffers.

which are better contact 3 or 5 as I heard 5 are a little noisy but the 3 are nice and quiet? im heading towards the 3s?
also would the car benefit much with getting new tyres on the back also even though loads of thread are left but theyre budget tyres?

Budgets on the rear will mean your arse flies about on corners. Better to have the budgets on the front to be honest where you have some control over what they're doing. But a matched set of 4 quality tyres is far better.
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.

I too rate the T1Rs and I have had them fitted to all my cars. I have now moved onto to the Toyo T1 Sports and tjey are even better than the Rs. So far the fronts are bedding in but the rears have been on for a while so I havent pushed the car yet. But even at normal driving speeds the car feels more planted and changes direction more readily. The T1 Sports have a dual compound so its different from the inside to outside of the tyre. Plus I got them for £77 a corner!

I've got the Pirelli PZero Rosso assymetrics on, and they are superb, and really well priced.

Snap! find them much better than the cont's that were on before.  :happy2:

Amazing grip, and good in the wet. Perfect for our rubbish climate!  :signLOL:
