OMG have you seen how cheap the......

....RS6 V10 is now, from mid £30k's. That is serious value for money.  They are stupidly quick, I test drove one when I had my RS4 in or a service! 700bhp from a remap. My V8 RS4 averaged 17ish mpg, what would a V10 average!

Oli, I think the Torrey Canyon and Exxon Valdez were cheaper to run than the RS6.  :wink:

Runnig costs would be insane though wouldnt they. Would have to make sure you had an absolutely astounding aftermarket warranty.

Yip i seen one at the garage when i bought my rs  36k they wanted for it although the bill new was 100k  !
Well nice up until the new m5 was released thats what i would of bought for my lottery win cruiser ... Noice !

It's a nice car, certainly get a lot for your money at that price. Doesn't sound too great though, hate the way on some cars how turbo's take away the noise!

Just over two weeks ago, I was pulling out of my residential road onto the wider B road that runs adjacent to my house in a bleary eyed manner. I'm glad I stopped at the junction and took a second look as one of these in 2003 plate Avant & dark blue guise had just started screaming up the road hitting near motorway speeds. The sound was quite something that early in the morning Ian!  :evilgrin:

My friend had one, just been part ex'd with a Nissan GT-R and he much preferred the GTR, said he was lucky to get 13mpg out of the RS6  :signLOL:

He managed to get more from the 911 turbo he had before it.

same here! it just oozes understated cool, me and my mates always joke about having one when the families arrive, the spaniels would be getting thrown around in the back of that i think!

has anyone seen how cheap the new shape M3's are now too, £20k! thats a lot of car for 20k!!!! again still wouldnt own one though
