yeah i think that all the cars on here might start to have a constant or current trendy theme to them, which will be more apparant at meets and shows where we all may get together but i reckon there are only 7 gtis in my very local vicinity and none have even lowered theirs let alone carbon or a red splitter.so ours will still jump out as different and individual!! :grouphug:
i have put my carbon plans on hold for 2 months due to spending it all on other mods so roll on july for carbon wrapped mirrors, grill mask and even poss bonnet if stone chips become an issue.
and i love the racoon look that ive seen on this thread and RR's car ... yum!

Hi...

Looks dam good the CF stuff...

How robust is it for outside applications like the door shuts, wing mirrors and front badge.
Could it suffer from stone chips and the like.

Martin,

Vinyl is generally very durable in terms of stone chips  :happy2:

@ Martin,

It's elasticity helps resistance. Sam at Raccoon showed me some marks on his vinyl wrapped BMW and they were merely surface indents which hadn't penetrated right through.

I don't think vinyl will withstand this kind of treatment though : -

^^^^^^^^^^^^^  Can any IT bods tell me why I can't see the above link?  All I get is a big box with a small coloured pattern in the top left corner?  Thanks.

If its a Youtube link (I can't see it either) then your company/firewall are probably blocking it like mine do.
