How to reapply R32 brake clips advice?
« on: March 01, 2012, 03:40:37 pm »
Hi guys.
Just managed to get my standard S3 metal clip off my brake caliper. Trying to figure out how to put the new R32 larger one on in it place, but can't work it out,
Does anyone have a run through guide, or pics of them on that I can look at for advice please?

Used the search button but to no avail.
Thanks

Scrap the last, I did it, (and managed to chip the hell out of my calipers, Glad I have them in black and had some hammerite on the go at the time otherwise i'd be fuming!)

Oh, and it is quite painful when they fly out and smack you on the hand!

They can be a real barstewards Al. I have had a go a few times and never really found an ideal method of fitting them although it does get easier with practise
You could quite easily make a mess of a nice set of brakes getting it wrong!!

I assembled my S3 calipers in the comfort of my garage prior to fitting and I still mullered the powder coat!!
