Recomend me a Sealant
« on: March 06, 2012, 08:12:49 am »
As above, looking for a sealant to bring out a wet look on my tornado red.  Will then be applying Collinite over that for protection so I suppose I'm looking for bling rather than a 'working' sealant.  Budget - not a lot - £20ish, £30 max.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

i use the Carlack twins with decent results.

I also use Collinite on top to finish it off nicely  :happy2:

On red I'd go for Clearkote Red Moose Glaze followed by Victoria Wax Concours, or something like Pinnacle Souveran...

I used to be indecisive.......... but now I'm not so sure!

Ive used the carlack sealant topped up with collie 476 after. Slowly running out, so have been looking at what other options to consider, jetseal 109 is one, along with finishkare 1000kp?

Have a look at Auto Finesses's Tough Coat. http://www.autofinesseuk.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=72

It's a very nice, easy to use, sealant with good durability and within your budget.   :happy2:
