iPhone 4S case
« on: April 28, 2012, 10:35:53 am »
When I had my 3GS, I bought an Otterbox Defender. It was pretty awesome and only after about two years did it start to wear with tears in the rubber. I dropped the phone 3-4 times from around 4-5ft height and not a single mark or crack on the case or the phone.

When I bought the 4S, I went for Otterbox Defender again. There's no clear plastic over the front/rear cameras so no protection, and the rubber surround just doesn't fit particularly well. Last night was the short straw - the rubber protecting the charger socket tore off. This is after three months of ownership. Pretty appalling IMO.

Sooo......I'm after a new case. Does anyone have experience of more durable cases? I'm looking at the Lifeproof and Ballistic HC.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
