I have bought a suspension kit from eBay in Germany and paid through PayPal.

The payment has came out of my account and is compleate in my PayPal

But the seller says that PayPal has not verified the payment at his end.

Any clues to what has gone on?
Anyone had any similar issues?

Dear baz161280,

Your payment with Paypal is not free. Paypal verifies your payment. As long as Paypal verified, I can not send.

That is what the seller is saying. Im not sure what he means

Sounds as if paypal has taken their fee's from the seller rather than you pay them so he s loosing out on money. Thats my understanding of it

I had something like this before. Paypal in their wisdom took the money out my account, but issued it as an e-cheque for some reason which takes 7 days or something to clear. The seller would not get the money until it cleared, so I had to cancel the transaction and do it again. It went straight through the second time. No idea why the e-cheque to start with as it came straight out my account.

Perhaps this is the same situation for you?

Ive had things like this happen on ebay uk. Send ebay/paypal an email. They will sort things out.

Have you bought something from abroad before on ebay? or something over £100?

Sometimes you have to verify your bank and/or address again. They really don't make it clear to you unless you start emailing them  :stupid:

I bought my H&Rs on ebay.de without any hitches for £130 delivered. Arrived in 3 days.  :happy2:

I haven't bought anything from abroad.

My friend received a payment through PayPal last wek in euros and had to click a link in PayPal to verify the payment, might be the same.

I have asked him to refund the payment and I will try sending the money again

I'll send a message to eBay and see what they say
