Hi guys thinking of changing the headling in my mk5 for a black version, just interested to know how big a job it is and what's involved thanks

I thought it was undo all the fixings and pillar covers and the man handle it out the drivers door.  A few hours work. Idon't really know but i'm sure I found a guide somewhere and that was the process.

WHen I did my Mk5 5 door it was easy enough, headliner came out through the boot, and the metal  clips which end up still affixed to the car at the front are an absolute nghtmare to get out

quick jump - is it the pillars that are holding the whole lining up. was thinking of changing my ariel so wanted to know about access ect
