Anti roll bars & fitting ?

At the moment I've got eibachs - unfitted yet.
I was just wondering what the script is with fitting them ?
I believe the rear is straight forward enough, but there is something about that you need to drop the subframe on the front and cut and re- weld the oem ARB brackets to reuse them ?

This is all recalled from memory so I'm not really sure what its all about now, if anyone could be of assistance that would be great.

I also believe that eibach have released an other ARB that comes with the brackets although this retails at £300 for the front only. This would mean however that the subframe could remain in place and it would reduce the fitting times!

Any ideas comments appreciated - even on other brands of ARBs and fitting
- ill have a few spare days when I'm back from offshore so I want to get these on cheers

Yeah the rear is a case of about 10 bolts and you're done. For the front you only need to drop the subframe to get the bars in and out as the shape makes them impossible to pull out. I haven't heard anything about cutting and welding the brackets.

I will be fitting mine next weekend so i will let you know.

There is a good guide somewhere i will see if i can find it for you.

I tried to do mine on Monday.

Rear was well easy the front is a bit of a problem. The brackets are fixed around the bar so you have to try and split them. AKS alex told me that you have to drill the fixing holes on the bracket to split it apart. I had a look but it looked like a right pain so I did not fit the front one in the end. The rear has made a massive improvement though  :happy2:
