Anyone know the best and cheapest plAce for sum DS2500 pads and sum discs 2go wiv them??

Ive got some OEM equivalent Pagids which are Reg90 approved, they're the proper ones as well in the dark blue box instead of the EuroCarPart Light blue box rebranded stuff. Just high quality normal pads, if anybody wants em cheap get in touch.

DS2500 are not reg 90 but the sentiment over on SCN seems sensible.

The only performance pad that is Reg90 I believe is the RS4-2-1 Black pad from Pagid....Standard on a Carbon Equipped Veyron, Enzo and DBS. Its a soft pad designed to do maybe 15,000 miles prior to wearing out and to preserve the discs.

You may think pads for Carbon Discs are something special but in effect they are just very soft normal pads with a high temperature headroom, one of the lads on the TT forum put some RS4-2-1 into a porsche setup and couldn't get them to fade on track/ring/road...anywhere. They're well over 200 quid though

The true Carbon/Carbon setups on F1 & LMP cars are very different to the Carbon Silica setups on Supercars etc. Set of pads for 2 grand anybody?

I can get DS2500 for a GTI for 125 if it helps maybe a bit less actually

EBC Yellowstuff, part DP41517R are are R-90 approved (from MSW) Apparantly these are used on police cars too.

You got a link or reference or a teensy bit of proof that thats the case........as I would be very surprised if that was the case, many police cars are on direct long lease with the manufacturers and they'll come with spares packages. Anyway theres too much smoke with fire with these EBC pads, the testing for their reg90 approval took place in the far east and their success is in the fact that they have the biggest margins for distributors.

Dont know anybody whos had a good experience with them on track

Does everyone who posts here need proof of information ? Let me know when everyone has to include a document or link following every post. Some information people maybe cant prove, but it doesnt mean they are wrong to post here does it Dave !

Think Tabs and Jon (aka duvet) set fire to a set each on track, great for testing the fire retardant properties of your alloys, not so great for setting a decent lap time...
