Yeah mine was the water cooled v-rod VRSCB. Engine designed by Porsche, 0-60 in 3secs. Shunned by the Aircooled massive (only because they were jealous of the speed)  :stupid:

Ill stop my off-topicness now.  :ashamed:

....I was on 10.6.8 Snow Leopard but waited until 10.8 Mountain Lion was released before updating to Lion 10.7.4.

I shan't update to Mountain Lion until the next generation OS is released. It greatly reduces the bugs but more so with third-party software incompatibilities.

It's equivalent to not buying a new car until after its first year of release is complete and some important revisions are made.

....That's bad if 10.7 is no longer available. There are plenty of professional areas where users want 10.7 but not 10.8 yet. Having said that, most of the OS updates seem to be user interface features which aren't so important anyway. 10.6 is thought very highly of.

I downloaded the 10.7 Lion installer months ago and will download the 10.8 installer soon but probably not load it until 10.9 is released.

So Mountain Lion is up to 10.8.1 already.

Yes. only upgrading so i can use the icloud features and ichat-ios device. was perfectly happy with 10.6 otherwise.

10.8 with windows8 is supposed to run ALOT faster too (i use fusion to dual boot). 10.6 with windows7 was very laggy.

....I'm lucky in that I don't have to use anything Windows or Microsoft on my Macs. Not even Word.

10.7 and 10.8 expand the TrackPad gestures nicely. I'm getting a sore index fingertip though. I have no use for Launchpad and the F3 key works better to access Mission Control. F3 did the biz in 10.6 anyway.
