Car is going in for service and few other little bits and just wondering if changing the spark plugs is worth it or should I just stick with the oem ones. Car is a 2008 edition 30 and has done 50k.

If your plugs have never been changed, then get it done. Especialy if your car is mapped, it's recomended to get em done every 20000.;)

Says in previous service history booklet that they have been changed twice so would you just leave it mate?

Should be done every other year if your on a time and distance service schedule. Your next service (it's 4 year one service) should be a major service inc plugs etc but you car services may be out of sink so hard to say without looking. If you do change the plugs and your Eddy is standard I would stick to the OEM plugs, they are perfectly good enough IMO.

If the previous services were with a VW dealer then their schedule is to change plugs at 40k miles.
