How to obtain radio code

I dont have my radio code. Is there anyway I can find this out?

call vw if don’t have it in your hand book.

just give them the cars vin as long as it is the original stereo they will have it.

You don't need it if you are just taking your existing one out and putting it back as the car remembers ones it has seen with the correct code previously.

I was under the impression if I disconnected the battery I would need the radio code.

You will only need the radio code if the radio has been added to the car after it rolled off the production line.
