Quick update.
Car has been into the VW approved repair shop. Turns out they have access to ETKA too.
Considering the bump was low speed (5mph or less) I have damaged nearly every front end body part.

Good news is, the xenons can be saved with a tab repair kit!!
Bad news is, the total repair, including parts / paint / labour is around 3.5k!! I cant believe it!
That's for genuine VW R32 part numbers too, including bumper, grille, bonnet, slam panel, wheel arch liners and under tray!

Oh, I've persuaded the repair manager to order me a hole less grille too, although he hasn't actually confirmed he can 100% get one.

No chassis damage though, so just bolt on parts.
Now waiting on insurance to approve!

Once repaired it will be better than ever, no stone chips etc!

Hopefully will get the go ahead for repair next week.
In the mean time, im buzzing round in a peugeot 107! Its the most pointless car ever.

Total repair cost quoted at 3.5K :(

Should have it back on Wednesday,  including smooth grille :D

This 107 courtesy car is horrible.  It's like driving round in a vagina

It took around a month to get sorted, but I have my car back, repaired by insurance to a very high standard by vw approved body shop.

Repair was all bolt on parts, no chassis damage. She now looks better than ever, no stone chips, like new.
Out of the ordeal I got a hole less r32 grille too.

Total repair cost was just over 3k! :( I really thought they were going to write her off.

Now to mount my plate with magnets...

;D;D

Perfect! I'm glad it's come out better than new :P and your happy with it! The plateless grill looks good, and a good bonus :) surprised the body shop didn't fit the plate? Good to see you back on the road! :D

Thanks :)
I made a big point about them leaving the plate for me to fit. I was worried they would just screw it on lol.

The grille turned out to be around £500 inc vat!
