Will definitely drop at least 30mm.

Had some eibach lowering springs on a previous Mk4 Golf v5 and was most impressed, Notice a lot of people on here recommend H&R springs, have seen the threads :happy2:

So at the moment general consensus is to have wheels in anthracite although need to be 18's or TD's (will check prices) can then keep 17's for winter.

Lower by 30mm.

Probably change mirrors casings for black ones (will prob smoke the indicator lenses).

Find an edition 30 front spoiler.

Probably colour code, I know it will look like an Eddy but won't be, I would like one but can't afford one with the spec I would want (plenty of threads on this at the moment ).

I like my car and it is pretty much sorted mechanically and will be a keeper for a few more years until I can afford a newer one.

^^^^ at the least it gives you another option come decision time. I was recommended the TD's by a few peeps on here so can't wait to get them on come spring time. By all accounts they weigh as much as a bag of sugar as well.

Black rims with a polished silver rim will look ace on a red car.. Had these on a red 997 and loved it.. I think you can get away with black wheels on a bright coloured car but they look too drug dealer / gangsta / chav (delete where appropriate) on darker cars.. All my own opinion of course.. No offence meant to any chavs, gangstas or drug dealers...  :P

I'd leave the wheels as they are, they look great. I think they match the skirts as well, giving a 'lightweight' look like my car. When I put my black Pescara's on, everyone on here told me not to colour-code, as it really went well with the black plastic and black around the windows etc. I like the look of your car as it is, althouh I agree with Sub39, the car would have a much better stance from behind, and look better from the side if those arches were filled out with 18's.

Perhaps I should look out for some 18's and refurb them in anthracite as well, then use the 17's in winter :happy2:

That's a great shout.  :happy2:
