Alloy Wheel Noob - What else do i need? Pics Inside

Hey all, basically ive never put wheels on any of my 2 previous cars lol. But thinking about changing the look of the golf espeicaly since i might go to a few shows or meets with it. So below are the wheels im thinking about putting on (bought from a mate who has decided not to put them on his mk4)

Now he bought them in that condition with the intention of a full refurb etc,, but i MIGHT be getting them for about £150

Seeing as i dont know anything about wheels or how to make them fit what else would i need to make them fit:

1) tyres
2) adapter
3) spigot rings
4) dfferent size bolts

Any info would be appreciated

Hello! basically regarding tyres. Depending on what your car is currently running (16" wheels) Any decent tyre place will be able to tell you ehat size tyres to fit to match the same rolling radius as you currently have. You can go different but it will sque your speedo (by how much - your guess is as good as mine)

The studd pattern is exactly the same as the MK5 golf. 5x112 by my calcualtions.

You well need to know the Offset or ET as its know to see how much they will stick out. Do you know how wide they are?

The centre bore on the merc wheels should be 66.6mm. You need 57.1 so spigot rings are essential

Tyre calculator: http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm put in your current info and what you propose to have, and make sure difference is not more or less than 2.5% as suggested on the webpage.

PCD and ET also very important as mentioned above.

I think the Et on the wheels are 45 mate, but will confirm. Also any idea how i can double check??

Oooorrrrrrrr, buy my wheels I'm selling that come with tyres and bolt straight on, so you'll have no hassle
