Fuel computer accuracy
« on: January 19, 2010, 07:14:37 pm »
Just thought i'd give you all a laugh. A number of people on various forums have complained that their fuel computer wasn't totally accurate in their VW's.

Well, for the past couple of days i've been away on business and my company gave me a 1.8 VVT Honda civic (petrol). The car was filled to the brim as I left, ans I did a 397 mile round trip. I've just filled up the car again and it used 46.1 litres (just over 10 gallons) and to my mind that translates into approx 39-40mpg ( which isn't too bad for an auto). The car on the otherhand told me I got 56.7 mpg ! Hmmm just a little bit out.

Other than that, a quite nice drive.

They seem nice inside but the exterior is about as ugly as a car gets IMO
