Checking a MAF
« on: August 05, 2009, 04:43:13 pm »
How do chaps?

Basically I've just purchased a new engine cover off of eBay and it’s turned up with pretty much every addition part. Filter, MAF etc. Is there any way of bench testing the sensor to check all of the readings are correct?

I've got no idea what the output from the sensor is measured in whether it be resistance, current, voltage etc.

If there is any way does anyone know the pin to pin readings for the sensor?

I can't be bothered with ripping the current one out until I change the entire cover and place new filters etc in.

If any can help it would be very much appreciated.

If you have to ask why, you'll never understand.

If you've not got VCDS then  it would be good trying to find someone with it in your local area then you could easily check the readings then.
