Victoria wax lite cleanse or dodo lime prime?
« on: September 19, 2009, 04:53:42 pm »
Got on along very well with vic's for removing small swirls, water marks etc but I've now ran out. Has anyone has any experience with both and if so which would they recommend buying?

I have been using the dodo light prime and didnt think that much of it to be honest, difficult to remove.

Was also going to try Vic cleanse as Vic wax is very good.

Used to use P21-S which was brilliant as it went well with the P21 wax

You can get it in a smaller bottle!!

Yeah your right there. Very concentrated so need to use it sparingly. I use it on my carbon wrap roof and find it very good.

I used DJ LPL but found it was crap and difficult to remove. Went to GTI Intl. the following day and spoke to the guy at the DJ. Basically turns out I was using far too much product and not working it in long enough. The amount I used say for the bonnet and roof combined would have been enough to cover the whole car!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Wax and clay are two completely different things.

Claying removes any stuck-on crap that didn't come off with washing.

Waxing protects the paintwork and gives a sheen. It has no cleaning properties whatsoever.

The wax cleansers are meant to be applied after claying and prepares the paintwork for waxing.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
