Noticed a few faded patches on my rear bumper, what should I use to get it black again?

I always used autoglym's version when I had black textured bumpers.

It lasts a couple of weeks.

G Techniq C4

I've just looked this stuff up. Sounds like the a great idea. Has anyone used it on the textured bumpers of a mk5 (or similar) before??? Easy to use, any issues and the results?? Thanks

Cquartz DLUX, better than c4 in terms of durability. A bit more fiddly to apply.

With any semi-permanent coating the most important thing is the prep and ideally a heat gun to allow for faster curing unless working in a dry unit/garage.

In this weather none of the "gel" type products would really last all that well... best bet is using something regularly like AG Bumper care (I use this and it's fine to be honest), there are others from Chemical Guys, Poorboys, Meguiars, Auto Finesee etc....

+1 for forever black. It's nearly half the price of Gtechnique and is very good.

I've not used it but don't imagine it to be a silica or chemical bond based dressing like Gtechniq C4 or Carpro DLUX is.

At the end of the day most will work it's just how long you want them to last.
