Not sure if you got tyres sorted but I have x4 Goodyear F1 Aysm 2's coming off mine shortly. They were purchased 19/6/2013 and have 7.00mm on the front and 7.5mm on the back. £340.
I'm changing to Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
pilot supersport in 225/40/18 92y xl are on back order they should be available from mid/late march.
Camskills update their prices daily, direct from michelin - currently supersports prices will be less than I paid last year for ps3.

That's an impressive price....did this drop today? I checked prices earlier and was sure that wasn't what I saw. Guess I'll have to put them up for less! Bet they go back after I do that  :chicken:

Gone but not forgotten :-)

I've used avon zv5s and zz3s on my last few VAG cars. The zz3 is a more aggressive softer tyre by offers good value performance. Have zv5s on the rear at mo and are good.

Soft tyre but good grip. They don't last too long though:)

Well if your financial problem is long term you may have to put with some Kendras for the meanwhile. Those are the tyres on my cupra at the moment their like £90 for a pair on ebay or if u get into your local tyre dealer their like £65 a tyre. You may have to give late speed braking a rest for a while as the ABS works a lil bit harder on these tyres

Camskill may still be an option. Some garages don't charge much for fitting. Mine charge around a fiver per tyre which is cheap. This may be because how frequently I use them got repairs also:)

I much prefer Michelin PS3's to Goodyear eagle F1 Ass2's-ran both I'll be going back to PS3's when these Goodyears are done, it's horses for courses but I think PS3's have a much more rigid sidewall and better wet weather grip
