Tyre Size?
« on: March 01, 2014, 04:22:32 pm »
What is the standard tyre size for 18" Monzas pls?. I'm gonna need a new set soon and my current tyres seem to have a very low profile to the point that they always look flat.

Thanks for the quick response. I just checked and they are standard size. Maybe it's just the make: Conti Sport Contact 3s?

I have the exact same tyres, no problem in them looking flat

Check your pressures?

The pressure is correct, they just look flatter than the Pirellis I used to have on my old TT.

Is 36 psi the correct pressure? I had 17" monzas on but just today I fitting my new mich ps3 tryes on my new 18" monzas and I put 33psi in as wasn't sure what to put in. Surely my petrol cap will just have the correct pressure for my 17" monzas that came for factory?

VW say 34psi (an always adjust them to that regardless) but I prefer 36psi.. The correct psi should be inside the fuel cap iirc
