Ok just to be clear...these pads are VERY distinctive.....if they're for sale they're the nicked ones

And the disc boxes

And the complete assemblies, again very individual. I can account for every set of these ever sold and every set sold are used and have been fitted

Just reading this pisses me off, just an idea, if a MacBook Pro got stolen is there not a way to track the laptop even if it's turned off just like iPhones and iPads, I'm sure there's software already on it to do this, not 100% though.

Its a shame this happened and I hope they catch the scrotes who did it (unlikely), but on the flipside they are getting LOTS of free publicity

My macbook pro got stolen at uni, i set it to connect to any available network automatically and it I (not the police) tracked it on a friends iphone - the find my mac was turned on too.

Don't think that person will forget the experience in a hurry.

Gutted for you guys.

Not been on the forum for a while - sad to say this is the first thing I saw. I'm really sorry and I hope they catch who is responsible.

If I were in charge, I would insist on more "like for like" punishment. If they set your car on fire, theirs gets taken away and destroyed unless they can pay for the value of the goods they damaged. If they steal stuff, they pay for the full RRP as a fine as well as returning the goods (or RRP as a fine and RRP compensation to the victim).

I honestly don't know what would possess someone to set someone else's car on fire. How does that bring anyone any satisfaction?
