I would go for the 2nd one's mate.

I use them and seem like a good tyre. I used falkens ze914aswell and they seem good aswell and aint bank breakers.

Goodyears all the way mate for me, Had two sets on mine and wouldn't touch another tyre at that price! In fact I'm going to order some right now as I need another 4!

They are both the correct tyres, 225 40 18 XL Y-Rated.

I'd take the Goodyears over the vReds at that price (and have). £83 a boot is very good.

Go for the Goodyears out of those two  :happy2:

I've just ordered a couple of Conti's again the Sport Contact 5's.. worked out cheaper with the fitting to go through local tyre place so dropping the two front wheels in tomorrow after their delivery arrives
