Dieseldog - 07 GTI DSG
« on: November 05, 2015, 01:17:04 pm »
Hey all,

I'm fairly new to the forum, been lurking for a few weeks now for advice. I have been a BMW fan for the last 4/5 years and finally made the change to petrol as my job location changed. After searching Ireland for 3/4 weeks, I finally came across this immaculate and well cared for 3 door, 2007 GTI with only 80,000 miles!

It has:
DSG and paddle shift
17" Monza's
Immaculate tartan interior
Electric Sunroof
Auto wipers
Auto lights

Absolutely delighted with it. I had it checked over by a mechanic and had it plugged in etc and it's perfect.

First thing I did (apart from endless hours cleaning and polishing) was order pressed metal plates. I also installed Osram nightbreaker dips (fantastic bulbs) on the front and upgraded the fogs and park lights.

This is my previous 320cd, estoril blue.

This is my bro's golf when he isn't driving his cupra r.

Hope you like the pics.

I plan to install a schnitzer '8' tip on the rear along with a few other small mods and generally keep the car in great shape. I'll update this with pics as I go along.

I have had this tip sitting around for a while now, I think it looks great on the GTi. It's only balancing in place for the pics.

What do you think??

Don't do it mate, clean the standard exhaust tips up if you don't have the funds for a catback or something  :happy2:

Damn. Better get that up for sale then. Don't want to upset soft kitty either!

Ordered a few bits today;
- OEM Rear wiper plastic nut cover.
- 14mm "GTI" stickers for my key fobs. (The VW ones are missing)
- Stainless steel GTI logo's for the seat lever.

I like simple things like that, the seat inserts make a nice difference as you see them as soon as you open the door.
