My gti mk5 making noise when starting up and turning off engine :s

Brought a 2006 golf gti this weekend and I've noticed a sound when starting and turning off engine. Starts fine but makes a random sound then when turning off engine it makes the sound again and car slighty moves......would anyone know about this??? Im dumb when it comes to things like this and new to the forum.
