ED30 rear bumper
«

I have an Edition 30 rear bumper on my MK5 GTI but like the look of a colour coded gti rear bumper with the plastic diffuser. Would i be able to just remove the colour coded diffuser off my car and replace with a non painted plastic one or would it have to be a full new rear bumper??

Great, does that mean when you buy the replacement ED30 lower section it comes unpainted?

Good idea!!
Ive got a mate who owns a screen printing business and does "wraps".

Thanks for the pics!
Was yours just wrapped in matt black or is that carbon effect? I think if i get mine done, take off the smoothed and colour coded side skirts. I think the car will look better with the standard skirts on. What do you think?

The skirts what are on now are Genuine VW ones yeah! I just think with the front splitter being a standard GTI unpainted one and the rear diffuser being black/grey, the car would look odd it the skirts are colour coded thats all.?

The S3 was the old shape!
Really nice car tho!03 reg, 30,000mls 1 owner. Ming Blue with silver elec Recaros plus loads of upgrades.
When looking for a new car i was desperate for the new S3 like yours but i couldnt afford one at the time. I considered buying a 2.0 fsi and building a S3 replica, but decided on a MK5 GTI as ive always had golf's!

how much did you pay for the car in the end? I wanted that one!
I wouldn't get rid of hte sideskirts, havemet a couple of people who did it. Im saving up to have my sideskirts painted soon, hate how cheap and plasticky the black ones look, when the cars a GTI model it should have been done as standard anyway!
