2.0 FSI Loss Of Power
« on: September 17, 2015, 04:40:14 pm »
Hi all,

I have the what seems to be very rare 2.0 FSI 4motion. When driving along (normally after slowing down for a junction etc.) the ESP light comes on and the car won't rev over 2000rpm, after stopping and turning the car off and on it goes back to normal. This isn't the usual ESP fault with the ABS module and after reading various forums I think it might be the brake pedal sensor. Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on the situation? Thanks

(I do have access to VCDS it's just being able to catch the car when the fault is there as I always turn it off/on because I couldn't drive it home without any power, therefore it's hard to try and scan it)

Scan the car.  Any stored faults would still show up...

Probably the turbo fell off.

The turbo fell off in the factory I'm afraid. I'll give vcds a go, it didn't show any faults before though.
