Golf Newbie here, need your help and guidance please!
« on: August 17, 2015, 04:34:36 pm »
Hi Guys & Gals

I have just picked up a lush Mk5 but it has the standard RCD300 system  :ashamed: I am looking to upgrading this to the RNS315 or the RNS510 but have all sorts about battery drain/ CANBUS amendment etc etc (you know the score, probably read about a gazillion times!  ) However i will need a system supplied and fitted, a little birdie somewhere has said that Eddie_NL is the person to contact.... however being a noob  :signLOL: i can't  :sad1:

Any help and guidance is very much appreciated!

Just keep posting on the forum and you will get your post count up but don't spam the forum to do it

If it's a late car you won't need to change the canbus. You can change the radio over yourself then. It's easy.
