2015 Updates inc Nav Map - Kenwood DNX520VBT [link inside] :)
« on: August 17, 2015, 05:29:45 pm »
Just wanted to say a big thanks to hlcst for his help.

For us DNX520 owners I thought I'd place the latest updates for 2015 for the Headunit, Nav and 2015 Maps all in one place. It's a 4gb download and instructions are inside.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1XH-F-V417bOF9NQUFMZURfQlE

Let me know if you have any issues downloading.

Just reliability I think Rich, like anything, just updating .
Main thing is the 2015 maps.

I put the maps on mine, although with only the 2015 maps selected I don't get any route guidance, so I had to enable my old 2011 maps to use as route guidance.
Probably something I've done wrong  :stupid: :signLOL: :signLOL:

No worries mate!
yeah, I dunno what I'm doing with Google Drive
I have granted your permission (I think....?)  :signLOL:

Thanks. You are the man.

I've downloaded and will attempt to update tonight.

Do I need to pay for map update?

If you have both maps ticked (to enable guidance as per your issue) which one is actually displayed?

Thanks,

I'm not sure, I think it's the 2015 one, it looks a little different to how it did before

I only have the 2015 maps selected and it works spot on. Are all the files in the correct places on the sd card?

That's good to hear.  Will see how I get on later.

Has anyone tried to add speed cameras?

Awesome glad to hear it.
I changed my maps to 2015 only and figured out you need to manually put the space between the first and second part of the postcode. Old style didn't matter.
