Hi

I am also planning on doing the R32 Rear conversion on my 1.9TDI 5 DR

I already have a genuine rear bumper along with the top half which has slight damage to it. Could i just swap the bottom halves? or is the top half on the R32 slightly different to the top half of the TDI version?

I'm in the same boat mate getting it sprayed tomorrow and bcs next week! Bcs advised me to get it all sprayed including the top part just so the paint can be be more on point! Obviously if you need to pay money to repair the top it may not be worth it but if it's slight you may as well

Thats alright then, i need to get my current top half sprayed anyway as it has a slight scuff on it but no structural damage (Cracks etc like the top half on my R32 bumper) So it looks like i will just end up swapping the bottom halves.

Also got my bumper at a bargain! (Only 180 off ebay, genuine vw too)

cheers
