It's 40 GB SSD.

Older units from C to Q had 40 GB HDD, and 30 GB HDD from A to B.

I had a Kenwood DNX520VBT and couldn't stand it, the touch screen was awful and the sound output was OK at best. I'm using the stock RCD510 in my mk6 and it's perfect. I might get an RNS510 revision R if funds allow, but happy with what I got.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

this is a link to one i have been considering.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-MK5-MK6-7-Car-Radio-Stereo-SatNav-Bluetooth-iPod-USB-OBD-Diagnosis-GPS-/171181089753?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

That does look the business, you get a lot for your money, wonder what the sound quality is like.
If you decide to go for it do post up a review,be interested to hear how it performed.

I have gone ahead and ordered it. Will post info about when it's all up and running

What model is that unit?
Looks great. Does it work easily with mfsw and reverse camera?

Mine is the DNX520VBT. And yes works perfectly with the MFSW and reverse camera if inst. Built in Bluetooth, USB, DVD & DiVX video support, and the best part is with sat-nav Garmin ('free any map update in the world') with UK traffic update. I bought it just for £210 from eBay so can't fault it.

Not the fastest response but totally transformed from the old look with RCD500

Here's mine.  Kenwood ddx4015 Dab.

Used a connects2 fitting kit which comes with fascia, cage, canbus interface, loom and aerial adapter.

Works OK.  User interface feels a bit dated and the iPod integration could be better. But it feels well made especially when I compared it to similarly priced Pioneers.

Hi do you have a model number for your facia? Or a link for where you bought it from? I've got a connects2 kit, but it's in 2 pieces not one piece like yours. I hate mine it looks horrible.

It came as part of a 'full' kit.  If you already have the loom etc it may be worth contacting Connects2 for the part number for just the cage/inner fascia/outer fascia.

Model number CTKVW01.
