Problems at low revs
« on: October 21, 2015, 07:02:02 pm »
So, I have an edition 30 and recently got all the hardware to go stage 2.

I'd noticed that it was struggling when sitting on the motorway/dual carriageway below 2500rpm. I assumed this was due to it needing a map. Today I had it mapped with Revo Stage 2 software. Its great when I have the foot down, but the problem when driving sensibly still occurs.

It feels like the car is almost trying to stall, and becomes jumpy and almost sounds like its choking?

Anyone any ideas what this could be, as no warning lights etc.

warning light has came on, it's the p0135 which I understand is the pre cat sensor? Is it simply just replacing this or is there possibly another problem?

Assuming a DP was fitted?  Did the O2 sensor harness get twisted and a wire snapped?  Check that first and if it looks intact, just replace it with a new genuine one.

I'm surprised Revo went ahead and mapped it with a dead sensor tbh.
