Main thermostat advice
« on: October 22, 2015, 12:27:08 pm »
Hello all you beautiful people,

I'm going to be replacing my main thermostat on Sunday and just wanted to see if anyone has any little tricks or tips that can hopefully make the whole process go as smoothly as possible?

I will be following these instructions http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Volkswagen_Golf_GTI_Mk_V/31-WATER-Replacing_Your_Thermostat/31-WATER-Replacing_Your_Thermostat.htm

I was only thinking the weather is getting cold again and I was waiting for a wave of threads on thermostat replacement  :popcornsoda:

I had mine replaced by a garage for €135 including parts & labour which is why I never tackled the job myself but countless others have so I'm sure you'll be fine! Good luck  :happy2:
