High performance disc's and pad's

Hi all I have been looking for a while and can't seem to find a answer that suits me, I have an edition 30 on standard brakes ie 312mm front and 288mm rear, I am after finding out, what are the BEST possible discs and pads?
Preferably I would like drilled and grooved discs, so far I have seen BREMBO drilled and grooved discs that I like and also EBC YELLOW STUFF brake pads,  any recommendations or advice please reply

GROOVED discs or J Hook discs.

Drilled are bad and will just crack.
Awesome are selling the Vagbremtechnic 312mm J Hook discs.
They are hideously expensive for a 312mm disc at £160 but hey.

Pad choice isn't the best on the 312mm caliper.
I'd go for DS2500 over the EBC pads which aren't that good. I used to use them back in the days on the bikes and wasn't ever that happy.

I'm running the Tarox sport japan style in the 345mm with the Tarox strada pads. Very pleased with them

Don't mean to butt in, but I'm looking at a brake upgrade as my next "big mod" as well. I was originally thinking of going the r32/s3 route but I saw this post and I'm interested if it will make much of a difference over the standard brakes? As I don't track my car and just looking for abit of extra bite and confidence when braking hard.

If I could keep the standard calipers with just uprated pads and discs and still get what I'm looking for then id proberly go this route as would be cheaper than a full brake swap etc

I also looking what to buy to replace rear 286mm discs and pads :) If possible I would like keep original calipers. If there is kit to use bigger discs with OEM calipers and is not to expensive is also option...
First Im think to buy Tarox G88 discs and Ferodo DS Performance or Ferodo DS2500 pads. How are they compared to "Vagbremtechnic 'J' Hooked 286mm" discs? Tarox is doubled in price but what about performance?
I don't do track days, but after some fast road drive I can fell that I lose braking power(brake fade)... And now when I must replace rear discs I would like buy some better discs...
So any recomendations with explaination will help to decide what to buy :)

I would think that your problems might be originating from the front end, unless you know you have tired hardware on the rear as well.

I know that my brake fade is not problem of rear brakes... Rear pads and discs are worn... It is not safe to use current discs with new pads so I must replace them BUT I searching something better than OEM but without replacing calipers. First Im think to buy Tarox G88 286mm discs, but now when Im see vagbremtechnic J hooked discs Im little confused... Before this two options Im think to put on rear EBC Turbo Groove discs(GD1459) but decide to not use their products, because I have not be happy with red pads and front Ultimax Slotted discs(USR1386)... So now looking for some better option...

Nobody can't recommend any rear 286mm discs?

Check DBA brake discs. They're awesome but expensive. There are different versions so you can choose according with your price range. Cheers

I put standard 282 disc and pads on the back of mine brakes fine from 150.

Im take MTEC C Hook brake discs and DS2500 brake pads :)
