Oil Additives could help reduce oil consumption?

Hi there,
anyone used oil additives on a golf gti mk5?will it help reduce oil consumption through piston rings since our GTI's are known if oil burning.

will additives help reduce Turbo oil seals?

What oil do you use? The general consensus among owners seems to be if you switch to Millers NanoDrive your oil consumption will reduce.

My car is getting serviced on Friday wth some for the first time to sim looking forward to the results.

All oil additives do to stop oil is to thicken it up. You're already doing that when switching to a good quality 5W40 oil. There is no miracle cure to stop cars from losing/burning through oil or water.

Dont even get me started on Radweld or the likes!
